    Default Redneck foot control

So I'm a cheapskate really cheap after deciding a less than 200 dollar boat wasn't worth spending a fortune on a foot control troll motor I took my Minn Kota 30 lb endura hand control put it on the front of my boat then took one of those on off foot switches for Christmas lights and rigged it on the pos side of the power wire for my tm n jb welded it to the floor of my fourteen ft Jon now I can set the speed of my tm and turn it on and off with my foot while I control the direction with my knees in the words of my wife with an extremely sarcastic face just like the pros with a ranger now there's no need for a bigger boat

I've seen Bill Dance use an on-off foot switch on his hand control TM for as long as I can remember...

If it works for you.... Go for it....

Nothing wrong with being frugal. If it weren't for my wife, I would have 10 of everything and would misplace all of it.

Me 2. I even have a Big Foot on my Powerdrive V2. Just easier to drive a boat with 2 feet than 1. No guessing where the switch iz and easier to use.
