    Default CanePole & others?

Tom, do you have RF interference on your flasher? That is my favorite type of FF..I think yours is a Vexilar. Also wondering what the cone angle is and if the 83Khtz is available on flashers.

I saw one used on a dock in TX and then watched the ice fishing video in the main board...Will they work well in open water over brush?

Then I will have HB,Lowrance & Vexilar or Marcum...

Don,flasher will work in open water over brush and whats read is about the same as regular sonar, the problem is you have to stay glued to flasher all the time, the singal given is gone and new one at all time, and so your mind have to hold each signal in to interpret and to look away is a lost signal. They are the best for high speed.BTW,are you coming to Buggs by spring?

What genec said. Mine is analog and like me, has no memory. I just use it for running and watch the red line.

I have the FL10. It comes in 3 cone sizes and also a dual frequency transducer is available. I have the high speed transducer (19*), but it is about the size of a old timey flat iron. Throws a good rooster tail too. Mainly, I trust it's readings. Most times old tech is good stuff. We both know that.

I have no intereference. FL10 has no processor. It has a spinning little dc motor, a transistor and a couple of LEDs.

I have an old Silent 60 I used until I put a HDS on the bow. I never had any problems with interference. I've only had the HDS out a few times and have a little interference. I'm not going to remove the HDS but I am thinking of putting that flasher back up there or even upgrading to a Vex.
