There are NO updates for the insight so you need to check the lowrance site for the lakes you fish with the insight, or check out the hot spots platinum with a listing of your lakes. Just have to pick the best chips for your area.

The insight HD card can be purchased for around 100. It has more contours at Higher Zoom levels. So you can zoom in closer and still have shaded contours, it contains the fishing hot spots info, etc. I have an insight, and I have a base map that I added the Insight HD card to.

Kosmo, why not go back to your cave, or substantiate what ever your Jumper cable claim is. And spell check would be a huge improvement.

Even a cave man could use it...............with jumper cables.

What is the jumper cables comment? What does it reference?
