    Default Terrova Reviews

Anybody have thought on this trolling motor? Looking at getting one. Just Spider rig and throw floater toward bank. Thanks, Kevin

the speed setting, record a track, and advanced aouto pilot are awsome features. the spot lock works pretty good for what it is . all in all a great motor.

Terrova is good. 24v (and 36v?) Terrova is better. Terrova with iPilot is best. All of these configurations are available. Prices range upwards to amounts similar to what I paid for my first car!

Jump on TallTimber's offer to check one out before you decide to buy. Depending on your style of fishing, a 24/36v Terrova with iPilot could be the best investment you ever make in crappie fishing gear.

No doubt you've read lots of threads discussing Terrova. I'll be amazed if you find one that says the Terrova is a bad motor. It's tough--very tough. Mine has cranked out 156 trips with 0 trips to the repair shop. I fish mostly in TMO lakes & that means long runs at high power settings plus non-stop operation all day.

iPilot is a related subject. Yes, many Terrovas are sold with iPilot installed, but you can also get iPilot on PD2. Opinions of iPilot vary. Longline trollers love it, but BP jiggers tend to stick with cable-controlled motors. Mainly, I drift corks and will never be without iPilot again! It's like cloning yourself to run the boat while you sit back and enjoy the fishing.

The reason I have a v2 is because there was no terrova at the time.

It will handle ice up to half an inch thick--just don't try to go too fast!
