sounds good. i will b ordering mine very soon.
so whats the main difference in this model and the new model besides the ethernet hookup?
Also when networking the units besides sharing waypoints what else would be the advantage of networking?
Does the humingbird units each have their own transducer?
and finally reading the down imaging is not as good as lowrance, how much of a difference is it really

Yeah I have a 798ci si somewhere on a UPS truck. They need a signature and keep trying to deliver it when I'm at work. First thing I'll do is make sure it's got the 5.450 version in it, install it on my interlink, then see if/how much interference I get from the troller. Anxious to see how it does.

I'm not sure which networking you're referring to, but with the old interlink you can share waypoints, transducer temps, and accessories connected (weathersense, gps, etc..). I think the ethernet might be able to share sonar because of the faster bus speed.
