    As Greg said you can mark from any screen just pick which side you want active so that you dont get fustrated trying to mark something on a screen but cant get your cursor to sit on it.

    once you get the hang of it i dont think that y'all ever want to go back to what you were using before. dont forget that you can zoom on the area of interest to get better look before you decide to mark

    When you start your fishing trip, goto the snapshot and recording screen and start recording. You will have to have a SD memory card in there for this. Once done with the trip, stop the recording(hit menu once and then stop recording). After this, you can replay your whole trip from the snapshot and recording screen or you can download Humviewer and replay it from the computer. If you're replaying from the unit, you can switch through all of the screens as if you were on the water. If you're replaying from the computer, you can select up to 4 views to watch.
