Default Simple question about sonar beams

I am looking at pulling the trigger on a Lowrance Mark 5x. It has a single beam 20 degree signal. The website says the transducer gives up to a 60 degree coverage. They are closed today so i can't call them to find out what this means.

    Anyone have an idea?

    Thanks.

Probably on 83KHz you get 60 degree coverage.

Can you give info of where you got the 20degree cone angle number...??

Lowrance website says this unit has a 200kHz transom mount xducer with up to 60degrees of coverage...

Look at Cabelas and you will see the 20 degree. I read the FAq's on the Lorance website and found the answer to my qustion. For mounting up front on the trolling motor this unit can't be beat for the price.
