Default WENT FROM 10.5 to 12.4

Ichanged the wire size running from the back of boat to the bow. I was using the stock wires that were there, with a fully charged Bat. I was only gettin 10.5 volts on the readout, that used to go down to 9.9 by the end of the day. Now I ran 2 #12s to the bow from Bat.in back. Now I get 12.4 on the readout. It checked 12.6 at the Bat. with a Fluke meter.

    Thanks To Talon.

Is that 2 of each, positive and negative? One run of 12 gauge alone doesn't sound big enough for a run from stern to bow. I ran 6 gauge on my boat. did you check for a voltage drop while the motor was running?

Unless it's for the TM, 12 ga is more than big enough to handle your electronics up front.
