Brian does have great prices....keep in mind that there is a newer version of the HDS units coming out...you can get the plus the rebate or preorder the Gen2 HDS unit and pay regular price with no rebate.

X4 for Brian @ BBG Marine and yes $200 rebates only good on HDS gen1 models not on new GEN 2 models that should be in stores in a week.

It's been awhile but I bought a Low x-15 mt from Cabels. Back then it was one of the better units. I put it on my boat and 1 week out of warranty, it died. Well I called Low to see what they would do and when I gave the guy the serial number he told me that there was no way it was only one year old. When I sent him the reciept he called and said he would replace the unit at no charge. The new unit had so many updates it was unbelievable it was the same unit.

I do like Cabela's but after that incident, I have been leary of buying any electronics from them. I know it maybe an isolated incident but I just picture the unit they are selling me is something thats has sat in one of their stores somewhere and to move it they shipped it on the next order. I'm sure it happens eveywhere but if you're the one who gets the older unit it tends to make you cautious to buy again.
I know when I bought it, I ordered a new unit not something that was sitting around for years.
