    Default which hand held?

I want to buy a hand held that will allow me 2000 waypoints, and will utilize lake maps. I want to navigate river channels in the lake. I like Fishing hot spots maps and would like to utilize their maps in the unit.
So GPS, waypoints, and QUALITY lake maps.
Id like to get may as cheaply as possible, but have about 500 to spend.
A fishfinder, with these tools described might do also.

I just bought a lowrance elite 5 DSI with GPS from Amazon for $550 and Lowrance has a $100 mail in rebate which makes the cost about $450, no sale tx and free shipping. I think the ad is good till close of business or xtremenavigation has the same price, free ship and no sale tx.
