Smally ... I use :
(main menu)
Color = Blue Gradient
Surface Clarity = Off
(under main menu "adjust" )
Contrast = 60%
(under Settings menu, then Sonar menu)
Manual Mode = On
Noise Rejection = On
(under Settings, then System menu) Advanced Mode = On
Those are the only settings that I think would have any effect on the screen image, but if you want to know more settings, then just tell me which ones you're interested in knowing & I'll look & see.
Biggest difference I've seen between using 800kHz & 455kHz has been the crisper clarity of the images with the 800kHz setting. It just seems to define the smaller details of what I'm seeing on the screen.
I hate to admit it, but I missed getting a bunch of much better screenshots. But, in my defense, I was catching some of those fish that were showing up on the screen, at the time![]()
