There is a return to vessel option in there hit it and it takes you to your current location! Hope that helps

You've got to make sure you hit "return to vessel", if you can find it. I can say that I'm not really a fan of the menu layer setup that they have. It's going to take me a long time to learn where everything is and what page I have to be on to even find it.

Holy Cr#$ Batman that's a long thread. Finally made it through. Lots of good info. Iv'e been on the fence for a year now between AN HB597 or the elite 5dsi. I have pretty much decided to pull the Lowrance trigger but one last question. Would you do it again? By the way great thread CP. And thank you to all who contributed. JD
A little off current topic... When wiring in this unit, what size of In-Line fuse are you guys using? (3amp, 5amp, 10amp.. ect..) Thanks in adavnce for any info given. And thanks to all That have had input on this thread.![]()

Here's how I found it :
Start from a split screen with chart & sonar
Move the map cursor to somewhere miles away from where the boat actually is
Push the "PAGES" button
Push Left arrow to take you to "Chart" only
Push "MENU" button
"Return to Vessel" is the first choice in the menu, highlighted in red.
Push the "ENTER" button and chart will display current location of unit.
