Thread: LOWRANCE 4.0 update

Follow the steps in the link to see what version software your unit is running. The very latest version is 4.0.36.59 and the link will show you how to upgrade to it.

Remember to first save the file to your computer desktop , the execute the file and save it to your SD card.

the 4.0 version of update that was put out last winter has another update that came out in JUNE 2011. That update was confusing for me to find as it is still listed under the 4.0 update of last winter, but none the less there is another udate they put there. so if you have not done the 2nd update under the 4.0 then , yes, there is another update

I made the comment a few weeks ago about not installing the latest update (which crappiegirl1 mentioned) If it were my comment you are refering to, the reason I did not mess with it was because it didn't look like the few extra "adders" would be of any real benefit to me. I'll probably just catch whatever it was in the next update. I have installed 4.0
