    Default fishfinder trouble

I bought my boat in jan 09, first ff was a cheapo cuda as i needed to save for tm, seats, batt, t bar rod holders etc....had it floored and like i wanted by that summer, well this past summer I bought a hb 385ci, and put in the rear which i have enjoyed..especially the gps for marking waypoints... well I moved the eagle to the front in hopes of replacing it with another hb...well last month a had a baby boy, needless to say I dont have the $ to upgrade so heres the prob

the eagle wont read bottom unless I set it at 40ft or better?!?! even if I am in 10fow this prob just started. any ideas?

    2 things to try...

Make sure the Xducer is pointing down... Sometimes a "bumped" Xducer can cause the Xducer to be looking at an angle thru the water column...

Put the unit in full " auto" to override any manual settings that may set incorrectly...

    Then post back....

I'm sure someone in here has that same unit to help more...
