Default Different amps for aerator timer and aerator

Good morning to all on the forum. My question: just bought aerator timer it is 10 amp. Installed aerators are 2.5 how do I make this work or do I take the timer back?

That just means your timer is rated at 10 amps max. If your installed aerators were 12.5 amps then you would have a problem but since they are only 2.5 amps you are in very good shape.

Barnacl Bill thank you sir for the information. I am about to install this timer and become one step closer to finishing this long project.
