    Default Compatibility issue

Has anyone ever heard of a problem with having a Lowrance and a Humminbird on the same boat.
I heard the two do not like each other.
Considering the 597 ci HD from H/B. Already have a Lowrance unit on the bow. Before I go through all of the trouble of installing a new H/B I wanted to check with ya'll.
    Thanks

I had a HB Prianha max ??? unit on the front and a Lowrance x37 on the transom, both are low end units. I could never get the HB to work/perform to my liking, comparing one screen to another when fish/structure where showing on the lowrance, so I pitched the HB, installed a Cuda (made by Lowrance I think) and it works ALOT better. I would stay with the same brands my self, but that's just me.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Interference problems are not uncommon with any combination of brands or units...

Interference Can be caused by many factors beside just the units themselves...boat wiring, battery setups, etc....

There's really not an effective way to predict of your setup will cause interference issues unit you try it...

Just turn off console unit when using bow unit if you have interference problems. Some units will cross talk when both running at same time. Had that problem with 2 lowrance units one time.
