    Default ipilot remote


    last nite while fishing it was raining some and my remote quit working.opened it up today and water inside,can get it to work some and then it will quit,might need to let it dry out more.any way ,anyone know who has a good price on a new remote,thanks

    get you a bag of oil dry, put remote in plastic samich bag . leave bag open,put phone in oil dry, it will draw out the moisture pretty quick, or call minnkota those things are water proof, dropped mine in the lake couple times no water inside...

    An old trick I've been using for years is to put it in a zip lock bag with rice (dry of course) and let it sit. The rice will draw the moisture out. Dessicant is even better if you have any.

    Let me guess...the rubber cover over the LEFT ON/OFF and RIGHT buttons wore out.
