Thread: Structure Scan + Digital depth

Great board you guys have here. I have a question I was hoping you could give me some help with.
I have a Lowrance HDS7 with structure scan. Love everything about it except for one glitch. Sometimes while in down imaging view on structure scan, my unit gives a digital reading of 1.1 feet regardless of the water depth. I can still see the actual depth on the image when it does this. Only way I've figured out to correct it is to reboot the entire system. Anybody have any ideas as to what is going on?

i have a thread Lowrance hds discussions and interpretations. a lot of the lowrance fellows and girls hang out there. you might want to post your question there. as far as i'm concerned i have the hds 7 with structure scan and dont have that problem. are you sure your structure scan transducer is at the right angle?
