My Lowrance 522 went bad awhile ago so I got a new 788ci HD to replace it and linked it to my 898 at the console. First InterLink unit had a bad port so HB Fed Ex'd one right away and everything works great. HB customer service is top notch (first time I have needed them). I did not go with the DI on the front as I am most concerned with depth of fish and structure along with temp and split screen to be able to set/find waypoints while trolling. One concern is, I guess I have to buy new Navionics chips for the 788. Map data is not shared! All in all, I think I will be very happy!!!
