Does this fix the sirius disable problem? When I try to disable sirius (blue dot in advanced mode) the unit reboots. Didn't see this fix and the "initalizing sirius window is really irritating me.

Gonna update my 5's now, and my 7 when it gets here Thursday (via Brian @ BBGMarine.com)!!!!

Looks like a hearty "FREE" Update! They certainly took the 5's and 7's to the next level with the 3 way split screen! Oh man, can't wait to get on the water!!!!! Thank you Lowrance, and Jason for the heads up!

That is great that I'll be able to have three screens open on my 7. Problem is I'm working out of town and won't be home for a week and a half to upload the new software.

I have a new hds 5 lake insight and getting ready to hook it all up here this week and turn the unit on. Question is what card should I run in there to record the factory settings and get another card for the new update. This gps is a whole new world to me. I have had the unit for almost a month but with all the flooding we have had I havent been in a hurry to get it on the boat. Thanks

2 gig sd card up to 32 gig sd card. But once you update your unit, I would delete the software update off your sd card.

thank you , Jason for making the announcement. i have been watching for the update for several weeks. i am a new owner of the hds 7 with structure scan and have had a lot of problems with fish symbols. problem is they are tooo small, but in addition to that i cannot get my unit to show many and i live on the harris chain of lakes in fl. have had many conversations with your customer service. stand by-- i may need you yet this week.

Which card would you recomend like a 2 gb or 8 or 16 or 32 gb to store the factory settings on this card will have the factory settings and only factory settings to go into my paper files. On the 4.0 I was wondering also which card to use and after it is installed I will delete the card and use it to record other things for fishing. Bare with me I am a green horn with this stuff. Thanks
