Trolling Motor Wiring Question

I believe MK has the same "adapter" for their connector for 6ga. Probably same connector, with markup.

That's the ones. Did you solder yours in, a few bad reviews on getting them to hold. I have a crimper for that size lug would that work better??

#8 will carry the same amperage as #6, in a short run... If it is gonna be #8 from the plug to the TM whats it matter what size the plug is. It is only a few inches long.

That is what I did, Ran 6 from back to front of boat. Used copper crimp to join with 12in of #8 then soldered. Hooked 8 to plug. No problems. In a run that short you are not going to see any drop on a troling motor.

I don't think so ! It don't add up. Your going to lose some.
