Default Powerdrive w/ Co-pilot not working! Help please!

I was fishing Saturday and my PD w/ co-pilot quit working. The shaft will still turn w/ remote or pedal, but the prop will not spin. The battery was fully charged. Does anyone know why this would happen? Could I have shorted it out somehow by removing the wires from the battery and then back on the battery when I got to the lake. I bought the unit used and it had worked flawless the last 5 outings. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    JTL

Might possibly be the control board. On an older powerdrive I had, the motor quit but it still steered. When I engaged the motor with the co pilot or foot pedal, I could hear a clicking sound in the control board. Further testing revealed no power going to the actual motor though. When I put 12v to the motor it ran. I assumed the control board was shot. Gave it away for parts as I didn't want to spend the money on a control board. So if you are hearing a clicking sound, your control board could be shot. Didn't happen to cross the wires did you? If so, it's shot! Don't ask me how I know. :D PS The one I smoked wasn't the one with the clicking control board. That one did nothing!

Thanks for the help Shellback. No, its not making a clicking sound. I checked it this mornig and now the shaft will not turn, but the battery checker still says it receiving full power. Im almost positive I have never crossed the wires. Anyone else have any ideas??

Completely disconnect the copilot and try using foot pedal only. That might help isolate a problem. In other words, plug foot pedal only into the power board circular connector.
