First thing Monday am call HB customer service ask if u can talk with a tech, probably not but they will remember Mondays are always busy-busy so call first thing they start @ 8 AM EASTERN TIME, probably 7am where u are at. I always used to carry 2 extra HD cards with me, one with present upgrade download & one with previous download, in case I had to burp the baby. Yes call from boat so u can try what they say as they say it.

You can also try reverting back to your previous version of software...

You can get it here if you know what version it was....

Just to be sure we are on the same page.

When it aint readin depth, do you mean no sonar display or that you are missing the read out on the left?

What is the chart speed set at?

OK, tried everything nothing worked. I took the boat out of the water and checked the transducer, it was wobbely there was a rubber washer missing. Dealer installed it. went to wallmart found one put it on and so far everything is Ok. Thanks for the help I really appreciate it. Once again, this is a great site.

Sorry, this is why I like to install things myself. Too bad it messed with a day (or two) of fishing.

2 weeks of fishing, just got back. It was not the transducer it's the unit. I hope I get it back before my May trip. Very dissapointing

HB recieved unit on friday, got it back today, very impressed. It was the transducer. have to put it back together and see how it works. 1 question, I reset to factory defualts, don't know if they upgraded. How do you know what program your unit is running?

    thanks, Dennis
