Unit has been worthless for over a year, Screen will show the bottom then freeze up then after a bit show more info..
Was told it was low voltage issues, Checked and rechecked all that everything was spot on.. Broke down and hooked it up on the 987c-SI power and same thing. So took off the info on the unit and saved it on the SD card.. Guess what now the unit works as it should work. Guess it was using all the memory to try and use the info and there was nothing left to run the unit?
Was about to trade over to the other company but being I have used humminbird for over over 30 years I just could not make my self leave them. So if your unit is has issues with the frames freezing up check to see its not over loaded with way to many waypoints . I think my issues started when I added the deal to share waypoints between both units.
