With the Humminbird SI you get "both" SI and DI. You won't regret going with the SI.

Depends on your budget. If there's no limit, go with the Biggest baddest you can afford. SI/DI combination gives you a lot more options for scanning large areas of water. DI only, will limit what you can do, but will give you awesome clarity of what's under the boat.

I don't have an SI yet, but when the money gets right there's gonna be an 898 on my dash, no question. Too many advantages to ignore.

You might want to check out the Hummingbird Factory outlet store. I just order a 798 HD SI for four hundred dollars less than retail. And they shipped it out next day and I should get it in 3-5 days which looks like it will be 3. Plus it was free shipping. Here is the link Humminbird 798ci HD SI Combo -

    Just an FYI.

    Good luck

I am about to deploy over seas for a year, first thing I am doing when I get back is kiss my wife and daughter. The next thing is installing a SI on the "Other woman"
