Thread: 898c SI needs help before i throw it in the lake!

ps. taking my husband to his favorite MEXICAN tomorrow---he deserves that and much more

be patient with it, youall will get it going.the pictures are from recording that isave while out on the lake. the one that i took above really looks better than in the picture.i took it today out in the garage.the power was off dew to the storm we had.no light in garage. my tundra cell will only do much.

weather better, but took a much needed break and went shopping. waiting on lowrance to call. will put boat back in the water from the boat dock tomorrow and run it now that i have reset the transducers (or i should say husband reset) lol
would like to see pictures from other hds owners of fish symbols. or how about this , is there any hds owners on here , but crappie reaper and kosmos, are the rest of you just trolling, whats up?

One-- maybe somebody at boat dock has a Low & could spend 10 minutes with u that should get u up & running, or hopefully u going out during the day take cell phone & Low customer number with u call from boat so u can make changes as they give them to u --Good Luck

i was at gander mountain today.i tryed the fish id on hds5 ,hds7&hds10 in the sim. mold. could not get fish symbols on hds5 or hds10. i got the symbols to work on hds7,but they are way to small to see easily even with it zoomed in. i dodnt no if there is a way to make them bigger.allso i tryed the 898,998&1198. i got the fish symbols to work on all of them.

I have been on the phone with lowrance several times while in the boat running. hopefully they will call tomorrow about the pictures i sent them, or i will call them by afternoon. thanks for your interest

taking the boat out in a few, keep our fingers crossed and update tonight!

UPDATE: getting smarter by the day, instead of putting the boat in the hoist and getting in the jon boat underneath to reset the transducers each time, my husband says today, we are in lake carlton, next to the house, ---why dont you just pull backwards into the boat ramp and ill get out on the dock and wade in and change them. GOOD IDEA. we did it twice---think im going for 1 more time tomorrow and that be it. fishing tonight----reset defaults for 50 th time. have pics i will post late tonight for feedback or tomorrow depending on how tired. lowrance has never called about the pics i emailed them----------ugh!
