Sensitivity in DI seems too high. I typically increase it until the bottom begins to wash out and then back it off some.

Sensitivity in 2d seems too low. I typically increase it until the water column begins to fill in and then back it off some.

LOL, I was thinking the opposite, but I AM NOT an expert. For my HB unit, I "think" when I backed off the sensitivity, it gave me more symbols. But it looks like you did find a school, Just keep adjusting stuff and motoring over the fish till they show up?

Looks to me like one of the ducers is either a lot higher, or the angle is drastically different then the other.

i had the depth set 1 foot different on one, good catch! lol

lake carlton today, lake dora tonight, couldnt catch fish for tinkering with the finder---did get a fish symbol couple times on the sonar, but had tons of fish symbols on the eagle on the trolling motor, and catching them---the eagle is running off the us2 on the terrova so should be dependable will call lowrance tomorrow---main question is why should anybody have to work this hard to get a fish symbol-----------somethings not right-----------probably me----maybe there are no fish?
its to the point of being rediculous the amount of time i have spent on this---good thing im retired--------but there are other things i could be doing?
