and another where the boat is moving and arches are present. This is how mine look when moving. You'll also notice that he has the sonic hub going, and is Jamming to some Rush.

Thanks, Crappiegirl1 ..... those came from Watts Bar Res. in East Tenn. Headed back down there in a couple of weeks. (my avatar pic is two 2lbr's from there)

supposed to storm later, so i think i will spend time on the phone lowrance and get their input on "no arches" will let you know the results

It's safe to assume that are moving when you expect to see arches right? If not, they'll look like my 8:07pm post.

UPDATE: yes, i'm moving,mduncan. going to go on the water again tomorrow. talked to lowrance today, for quite some time going over all the settings that i now know by heart.
says if i cant get the arches i need to send it in---i may have a better idea--------my 30 days isnt up yet------in the meantime my husbands already bad back has gone out---------chiropractor tomorrow----is it any wonder---------all my fault!

crappiegirl if your expecting fish symbols like on the humminbird,i dont think that your going to get that.from what i saw at gander mountain playing with the lowrance units .they wont have these size fish symbols.i think your going to have to decide how important having the fish symbols is to you

going to try to post pics of mainly the structure scan today in mostly shallow water----anybody see any fish, please point out.
i could not get any arches on sonar with fish symbols turned off. pretty rough out today!
