I had to call customer service at Lowrance concerning the warranty end date on my new HDS-8. Hold time was a mere two minutes, which is pretty good this day and age. A courteous Representative came on the line, I explained my concern and was promptly told that their warranty end date programming has an issue and that it was being looked into. I was also told that my warranty would be from the original purchase date. My concern was that my warranty period was going to be shorter than advertised and Lowrance CS set me straight.
