    Default NMEA networking and ethernet install


    I setting my boat up like the picture. Any network experts here? I might need to call fer help. ha. I am adding engine monitor and livewell temp. The rest of the network is already installed and working pretty good.

    I ain't got much to do except go fish and go to Tunica. Hard life.Thumbs Up

    Are using a external GPS? I thought HDS8 have built in No? if so is external any better? with Lowrance guess u can just hook external GPS to system & feed both units. Sweet deal u got on that 7 unit
    I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.....

    Hey Tom, I notice the LSS-1 has a yellow wire for a switch to the console. Would this be an on/off switch for the LSS-1?
    I didn't see much about it in the destructions.

    CR, it powers on the LSS-1 when the HDSX unit that it's connected to is powered on. Kind of like a car amp.
