Question ever replaced bow mount motorguide with a minn kota?

i have a MG pro 46lb thrust foot controlled on the bow of my 2007nitro 750sc--think i will buy a minn kota edge55---just wondering if i will have to drill new holes or will the minn kota mounting holes be the same and how do I install it? Will I need to buy new bolts, new plug-in for the end?

New holes will be needed.... The new mount will cover the old holes.

new TM will not come with plug, use the one off old one or buy new. if you buy new take old one apart to see where the 2 wires are hooked up, hook new one up same way

when I changed over I drilled new holes in the motor mount instead of the boat.
