    Default Trolling Motor Speed Controller


    I have a new MG stealth 37# on a 16' duracraft. Even at the lowest speed its too fast and loud for crappie fishing. "good problem to have'. I've been looking on ebay for a speed controller but I don't really know what will work. There is one for $100.00 there has got to be a lesser expensive alternative. Anyone got a suggestion?

    If it was me, I'd get a spare prop and trim it down some. For an electronic control, you aren't going to beat $100.
