    i dont mind trying to help get this fixed but i believe we are fighting a lost cause,but i hope im wrong.need to find more forums to post this message on if it is gonna happen or humm is just gonna let this die down,nobody but tmike( and he acts like its not a problem) associated with humm. wont talk about it and they no its a problem that can be fixed

    If it was an easy fix, it would probably would have been fixed by now.

    I have pretty much always used Lowrance products and just installed a new HDS-8, a Elite-5 DSI and a LSS-1 on the boat I bought last fall. I looked at the HB stuff while I was shopping, the prices were fine and the down/side scan images were impressive, but in the end the donut was a deal breaker. So far I'm very impressed with the units I have.

    When I sold my old boat and bought a newer old boat last year, I sold the HB's with it for the same reason. Got 2 HDS-5's and LSS-1 and ethernet. Have set on a single submerged tree in wind and never lost my spot or wondered where I was.

    I do that too, all the time with a HB. I can tell exactly where to keep my boat positioned over small structure, but I have run off and forgot my bouy marker a lot, :p

    count me in as one also, need to get it fixed before I go HB. I am looking to get to units but not sure.
