I'm not moving it up front. I'm moving it to the back of the boat. I want to watch the unit and my poles when pullin without having to glance at the console.
I'm using the switch to run the transom transducer to either the console or the back depending on whether I'm driving the boat or pullin. It'll also be a graph for my partner in the back when spider riggin.

They are transducer switches. If you want have to use one transducer, its the way to go. The US3W looks like it'll be cheaper than the US2W but its not out yet and I couldn't find specs that it had a cable with it. The US2W is more expensive and hard to find, but it has a 5 foot cable for one unit, a 20 foot cable for the other unit and 20 inches to the transducer cable.

Oh okay.. When I read up on them... I thought it was wired so you could use two transducers with one SI unit. I didn't know it was the other way around. That is exactly what i need then. That way I won't have to switch wires or plugs... but just flip a switch.

Yep. My stuff shipped out today, so I might get to try it out this weekend. Most likely next weekend though.
Wife is giving me grief about more holes in the boat ( for the ram ball ). Since the gimble mount is attached to the ram arm, I'm just going to flip the switch, disconnect the wires and move the ram arm, gimble and unit to the new location and plug it in.
    That's the plan anyway.

Yeah, as far as the front goes, I already have a unit up there. If you have the cash, that's the way to go.

I just found I wasn't using the console that much when fishing off the back and my partner ( lil' sty, my boy ) wanted to have a depth finder to use when he on the back and I'm up front.

Hey guys is there a way to run two different quick mounts off of 1 puck antenna ie a splitter of some sort or do I need a second puck?
