Yes there is, it is called the AS-SysLink cable. It allows two units to use the same GPS Receiver without the other unit having to be powered on. The units will not share any information between them though.

Try turning up the Fish ID Sensitivity menu and/or setting the Beam Select menu to the 200/83kHz menu setting.
