    Unhappy 1197c si vs 1198c si


    I going to buy one of these units and they are the same price. Is there really any difference to buy one from the other. Thanks Lane

    The 1198 is supposed to have a faster processor and a brighter screen...

    I almost wish I had waited 1 more year instead of buying my 1197....

    1198 all the way, being the same price and the 1198 is the upgrade to the 1197. I have the 1197 and like it, it will be a while before I upgrade as lone as the software upgrades keep coming from HB.

    Well I went ahead and got the 1198c on ebay for 2300, heck of a deal can,t wait for the ice to go way to use it. I have the 797 and really like it. But the bigger screen will be great. Thanks for your help. Thanks Lane

    Lane, make sure the unit you bought doesn't have "CHO" in the model number...

    This stands for "Control Head Only" and doesn't come with a xducer....
