    Default Elite 5 DSI


    I have a new Elite 5 DSI on order and plan to mount it on the trolling motor. It requires a trolling motor bracket for a DSI transducer. Has anyone seen one of these brackets? Are they any different than any other bracket used by Lowrance?

    My guess would be the HB factory--,I,ve seen Greg post the # on here

    I used the same bracket that was on my X-96 transducer.

    Looks like this unit would be awesome especially for the price. So what is the difference in this unit and the hds-5 other than the DSI???

    This unit has no 2D sonar, no side scan, it's not networkable and unless I've missed something in mine the maps are very basic. None of the things are a issue with me, I can transfer way points with a memory card, side scan is on the HDS-8 on the console that has a good mapping card and if I decide that I need 2D I have a X96 or a 747C that can accompany the Elite 5 up front.
