Thread: Terrova Installation

Those of you with Terrovas, did you all change your wiring to 6 guage and then have to change the male and female trolling motor plugs? I know the issue of wire guage has been discussed, but I haven't seen anything about the plugs. I have a 24 volt system with a V type male/female setup. Currently running a 65 PD older model. Also, did you change your breaker to a 60 amp? Thanks

Running 50 amp breakers with no problems. I have six gauge to the plug. Running the 80 pound thrust terrova. Boat came from factory with six gauge . Your trolling motor wire is not 6 gauge going in to motor but I still would want 6 gauge from batteries to the plug.
