    The new bass pro catalog states the Navionics map chips will be "updatable" in 2011. Haven't seen anything on Navionics web page about it. But might be something to wait for.

    I guessing that means that they will have new mapping cards for 2011 versus being able to update the map card you now have (although they have taken older map cards in on trade in past years). It would be nice to be able to update the map card you now have with a simple downloaded file but I would bet they could not secure it that way and multiple map cards could be updated off of one purchased download.
