    Default Inside Humminbirds machines.....

Here is what goes on in side the HB factory fellers and fellerettes.

Amazing to watch these machines build up a pcb circuit.

Actually we switched to JUKI SMT machines but the result is the same: many very small parts installed very precisey and quickly! Some of these parts are 0.02" x 0.01" (smaller than fine ground pepper!):

Gregg, this is just to let some folks see what really goes on. These machines are amazing (and expensive). I like to watch the pick and place machines.

I understand CP. I just wanted you to see what we use now. We used to use Fuji equipment but found that the JUKI fits our needs better. My Manager is even shown in some of the JUKI advertisements!

I like to watch the pick-n-place equipment too, especially when we had one of the machines like your linked video showed. Reminds me of a gattling gun! :D

When I first started here way back in 1982 we had an old through-hole insertion machine that rattled the whole shop floor when it was working - and I thought it was pretty neat. Nothing compared to what can be done now though.
