Default Question about Hummingbird 160 transducer?? Help Please

Just found out that my wires to my transducer got cut, which is on my trolling motor. Do I have to place the whole transducer now? I am no handy man, and it looks like the wiring can't be spliced together. And if I do need a whole new transducer, any suggestions on where I can find one. Thanks Sean

Sean, you can usually splice the cable. It needs to be soldered and sealed, but it's pretty easy for somebody with electrical or electronic experience.

Where are you located? Maybe somebody nearby can take care of it for you.
