Default Structure scan with 2 hds units hook up?

Im trying to hook up 2 hds units to one structure scan. First question. I want to have a transducer on each unit. All the lowrance diagrams only show one transducer. Can i hook up one to each unit? Second question. I was planning on tying all the yellow wake up wires together do i need a switch inline? Last question the front hds unit will be hooked up to a terrova trolling motor with the transducer in the trolling motor what transducer do i use in the hds program? Thanks for any info in advance.

If you are going to have 2 LSS-1 structure scan transducers as far as I know you need 2 LSS-1 boxes. You can run the 2 HDS units linked together but off of 1 transducer. This is with Lowrance. Don't know about HB. Z21.

I will only have one lss-1 transducer mounted on the rear of boat. But want to have hds transducer on trolling motor connected to front hds unit and one on rear connected to hds unit at steering console.

You can have separate 2D transducers for each unit. That's what I do---I have a thru hull on the back and a US2 on the trolling motor. I can see the SI on each unit via the Ethernet cable.

That will work. Only problem is if LSS-1 transducer is on the transom when you are at the trolling motor you will be seeing things that are 18' away or however long your boat is.

Don't have mine on the boat, but I believe when I pulled up the transducer choices, I used "other 80/200 transducer", or something to that effect. Don't remember it offering US2 as a choice. But I'm old and don't always remember this stuff.
