    Default trolling motor help

I have a motor guide 743 foot controlled trolling motor, today all of a sudden when I pressed the foot power controll nothing happened. When I switched the toggel switch to the top it has constant power. But when I move the toggle switch back down to the rabbit symbol then hit the foot control nothing. Do you think its just the switch which my foot hits to power the motor? Any help will be appreciative.

if it's like the foot peddle on my motor it could be the little "prong" that makes contact under the button you press has broken. when my motor was brand new i had to press hard to get it to run and i popped the button off and made an extension and popped the button back in place. don't know if that's your problem or not.

it was the switch under the area that you put your foot on to turn on the motor. Thanks guys for the input.
