    Default best fish finders

I have a small Game fisher boat. I do most of my fishing in creeks and other places a small boat can go. What is the best fish finder to use in creeks where the depth is probably no more than 15' in places. Has lots of logs, stumps, and fallen trees.

Welcome from ALABAMA!!! You may want to ask your question over on the main board. There are more people over there. They will need to know how much money you want to spend.

I don't know about the best but I'm partial to Humminbird. Been using em since the late 60's (a flasher back then). HB has low price models as well as high dollar & has a good repair policy. I have a 500 series model on the bow mainly for the 5" screen, easier to see in my late 50's.

Musta been a Lowrance flasher in the 60's. Humminbird didn't exist then.

CP is right: we did not get our start until 1971 and that was as Fulton Electronics.
