Default Question for HB Greg, or other electronics guru's

    greg,
would the AS GRHA external GPS work for a 777c2? I have an external garmin 60c gps but only gets me within a 20ft circle of accuracy and I am looking for something that would let me get a little more accurate for finding my brushpiles etc.

Gosh I have always found the Garmin brand handheld to be one of the most accurate there is. My 76csx tells u you when approaching a waypoint to within a couple feet usually. It counts down in feet as u approach. And the cheaper etrex did the same. Have u tried calling Garmin to see if there is a new upgrade download out for the 60 model that would help. HB makes it known when they have updates but some of the handheld companies its like pullin teeth you have to do the callin. U do know the AS GRHA is no longer available.

Sorry Tommy but I’ve been busy at work and home…
No, do not use the AS-GRHA with the 777c2 unit. The reason for this is that the GRHA (and GR50) GPS Receiver pulls more current than the older GR16 GPS Receivers do and the 777c2 unit cannot source that much current.
