    How about this. Take a piece of radiator hose, attach it to the boat on a hinge, then the other end with washered nuts. Might take a little bit with a heat gun to get the angle right, but that's about as simple and cheap as you'll find. Kick it over with your foot and flip it up when you leave. Bigger did the same on his boat and it works like a charm.

    We mostly longline using the graph on the console but will use the front graph when spider rigging or striper fishing. Here's what we use. Only takes a few seconds to deploy.:
