    Default Basic fish finder

I am going to upgrade my cheap lowrance 50 fish finder for a little more advance model . Probably looking at 200 dollar range not anything fancy like the 1000 dollar models. Any ideas on a good unit.

HB 570 I think is the model no. it's the new 565 and I've got one of those and they're a good DF for the money. Will run $175 to $200

I agree with the HB 570. I have the HB565 and couldn't be happier. Wish I had two on the boat now. I know there are alot of selections on the market and I would look at the cone angles and screen size and possibly a color model if my budget allowed.
    Good luck in your selection.

color is nice, but when you compare features you'll find color cost a lot more.

The HB 570 is a great FF for the money. I have a 565 and I love it.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Another vote for the 565 or equivalent. Good unit.

I'm looking the same price range and I've decided to go with the Lowrance Mark5X Pro. Resolution and definition are more important to me than color.
