    Default Aqua Life Bait Station

How many of you have bought this minnow bucket only to have the pump stop pumping soon after you started using it? That seems to be a common complaint with them. Anyway if you take a small screwdriver and grind it down until it works on those crazy screws they use you can replace that pump with most any small aerator pump that runs on 3 volts. Pretty easy job actually. Other than the cheap pumps they use they are pretty good monnow buckets.

Which pump did you use? I've had exceptional luck with Baker. I lost it
this spring when my son left it out in a storm and the bucket filled with
water. I haven't been able to locate another one, they probably went out
of business because their product lasted so long.

I don't remember as it was one I had laying around. I've got a little better one called Hush Bubbles I got from WalMart that I'm going to put in if the one I just put in fails.

Everyone I know who bought them had the same problem. Hush bubbles aerator is the best, super quiet and last a long time on the batteries.

Default I have that same bucket

and mine lasted about 6 months before it went out. I just use the Frabil 9think thats the one I have now) and run the hose down in the bucket and clip the aerater to the bucket handle. I love the bucket cause it'll keep the water cool for a long time. I'll chunk in a couple handfulls of ice on a hot day and as long as I keep the lid closed all day, I won;t lose any minners

Yes Cool Bubles (Hush B.,someone in a previous post said to use water bottles that are froze, and we do as the fellar said something about clorinated water that comes out the ice cubes that it will kill the minners, found that we keep a few on board and add one every few hours like said and that works well for us.

What I am saying is that you can physically take the pump out of those aerators and replaced the one in the bucket with it.
