    Default Co-Pilot not sounding

My Minn Kota Co-Pilot will not beep now when I push the remote. It stoped working while fishing yesterday and made it real tugh to know if the speed control was responding. Has anyone had this problem and know a fix?

Replace the battery (CR2032). If it still doesn’t work the unit may have to re-learn the ID of the remote. Press and hold the learn button located on the side of the receiver (on the motor). The receiver will emit a continuous tone. Press any button on the remote and the receiver will beep 4 times confirming it has learned the ID of the remote.

I have looked but I don't see anything like that on my motor. My motor is a older model Riptide with the Co-Pilot add on?

It is a small hard to see button on the side of the Co-pilot. Not the remote.

Ok I found it, but it's not fixing the problem. I have two remotes and both of them work but the Co-Pilot will not sound even with new batteries.

    ???

OK, one more thing you can try and you may need help. Motor has to be plugged in for this. Unplug the Co-pilot from the motor. Press and hold the learn button and power the unit back up by plugging it back in to the motor. Continue to hold down the learn button for 10 seconds. You should hear a warble sound slowlt changing to a constant beep then shut off. Release the learn button and the receiver should reboot and you will hear a 2 sec long beep. It will continue to do this each time it is powered up until you go thru the learn step again. BTW this info is in you manual if you still have it. Hope this does it for you.
