I have had two of them and had no problems with them. They worked great for me always take the handheld when I fish with other people then transfered my waypoints to my Lowrance on my boat when I get home. Lost the first one at Reelfoot of course my buddy marked where I dropped in the lake on his gps, he says I dropped some structure and we should mark it not funny! well maybe now it is but not at the time. I did sell the second one, thought I would upgrade to endura model don't think I like it as well as the h2oc. Good luck with it, like anything just give it time and play around with it and it will become easier to use I'm sure you will like it.
